RMAD Teachers
Mrs Bekki and Mrs Eve trained in Milton Keynes together at a local dance school and have been friends for many years. Mrs Emily and Mrs Bekki went to Secondary school together and used to train for their ballet exams together too. Here is a little about the teachers professional dance and performing experience in the big wide world outside of Milton Keynes!

Mrs Bekki
Bekki danced from the age of 3 and performed in the West End tours of Whistle Down the Wind, Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat and was a ‘Lost Boy’ in the first Milton Keynes Pantomime Peter Pan whilst in school.
She professionally trained at the prestigious Bodywork Performing Arts College in Cambridge after winning a 3 year Fully funded Principles Scholarship. She graduated with a top Distinction Level Diploma in Professional Dance alongside her dance teaching qualifications.
Since graduating in 2011 she has danced alongside pop group JLS and Katy B, taken part in promotional Flash Mobs and danced as part of the ‘Vegas Showgirl’ team with Dance Reality at various corporate events. She performed at a number of theatres around the country including Sadlers Wells, the Peacock theatre and the Gordon Craig theatre and gained a Christmas contract in Epping with Best Parties Company performing throughout the Christmas period.
Bekki performed in Thailand for 2 years in Phuket, dancing alongside World Famous Illusionist Joe Labero and later taking on the role of Dance Captain. She returned home at the end of 2013 and took on a further Christmas contract in Billericay. She then found her love for teaching In between dance contracts and has never looked back!
Mrs Eve
Eve trained at Millenium Perfoming Arts College in London for three years and received a Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical theatre, majoring in Ballet and Pointe Work.
After graduating she went on to work in a variety of areas, doing extra work in Movies such as ‘Now you See me 2’, ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘Night at the Museum 3’ and also danced at the Olympics Closing ceremony on pointe alongside Darcey Bussel.
She continued dancing professionally in the incredible DisneyLand Paris for two years in the parades, shows and events.
She then secured a professional contract at Warner Lesiure Hotels performing Musical theatre/Pop songs, singing and dancing 6 nights a week. She is a UTD qualified dance teacher as well as a qualified Pilates instructor and Cheerleading coach.
Mrs Emily
Emily has been a dancer since she was two years old, ultimately achieving Advanced Levels in Ballet. Emily trained at world legendary The Royal Ballet School from the age of 8yrs of age and also at the London Studio Centre where she specialised in Ballet and body conditioning.
She is also skilled in other dance styles including Tap, Modern and Jazz. Emily has appeared in many shows, both amateur and professional, including pantomimes.
She has also performed with various dance companies and alongside many professional dancers. Mrs Emily is a UTD registered dance teacher and also runs her own online/pop up shop “Dance Shop By Emily.” Now a Mum of three (soon to be 4!)
Emily continues to embrace her love of dance and is passionate about encouraging others to enjoy dance too.
Miss Sophie
Sophie has been dancing since the age of 3 and performing on the big stage since the age of 5 in various musicals and dance shows. Sophie trained professionally in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in Guilford and graduated in 2015. Her professional stage credits include Tosca the Opera, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Footloose, Hairspray, A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast as well as performing in various local Pantomimes.
Alongside performing, Sophie has developed a passion for teaching children and adults dance, drama and singing. Sophie has had experience as the head of Singing at Spotlight Academy, and has also taught weekly adult classes at Milton Keynes Theatre. Sophie is an experienced children’s entertainer hosting Princess parties and regularly performs as a princess at charity events.
She is a trained Gymnastics coach alongside being a recognised UTD registered teacher.
Miss Summer
Summer is in her fifth year at DanceBox training for her BA Hons qualification where she studies a variety of dance styles. Summer has performed around the country in shows and events including 'Move It' and 'Can you Dance' where she has taken the lead role as dance captain. She has worked professionally as a Latin and Commercial dancer and is currently a swing in SHOWTIME at Leicester revolution. Summer has experience teaching workshops for Milton Keynes Theatre, as well as performing on the big stage herself.
She currently teaches at Stagecoach Milton Keynes, as well as RMAD and also manages to fit in weekend performing work for Chica Bonita Entertainment. She is an all rounded dancer and performer and currently teaches Street/Commerical and Lyrical/Contemporary at the Rebecca Marie Academy of Dance.
Ben
Ben trained at the Prestigious Urdang Academy in London. He went on to become a professional dancer, performing in many musicals, tours and live events around the world.
In 2014 Ben started his journey with The Walt Disney Company. He became a dancer and performer at Disneyland Paris, and then went on to join the Disney events team in London. Ben has appeared in television and film, working with the likes of BBC, ITV, Disney, Fox and more.
Ben was a director for Fame and Peter Pan for Rare Productions. In 2023 Ben returned back to the UK after 5 years working as a dancer and maintenance choreographer in Hong Kong Disneyland. Ben now continues his work with Disney, and is excited to be joining the RMAD team until he jets off on his next adventure.
Mikiya
Mikiya trained in dance and musical theatre in Japan, and studied at the Shiki Theatre Company in Tokyo. In 2012 Mikiya started working at Tokyo Disney Resort, dancing and performing in many shows and parades in Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. He then went on to join the Shiki Theatre Company in Tokyo, which is known for being the equivalent of the West End in Japan. While in the company he performed in musicals such as Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Anne of Green Gables and more. He then went on to become a performer and dancer at Hong Kong Disneyland, performing in parades and shows.

Mikiya joins the Rebecca Marie Academy of Dance as an assistant teacher.
Miss Daisy
Daisy is a versatile performer who has trained since a very young age in all dance styles. Growing up in a dance loving family has ignited a passion for her talent, as her mum, auntie and nan all have been professional dancers and teachers!
Daisy has completed her 6th form programme at Dancebox studios, and is now starting her degree in Professional Dance.
She is currently training our Inter Lyrical competition team at the Rebecca Marie Academy of Dance.
Miss Erin
Erin has danced since the age of 2 years old and joined RMAD to further her dancing goals. She has competed as a soloist, as well as in duets and teams and has recently passed her First Major ballet exam with us.
Since passing her major examination, she has started her teaching pathway with the United Teachers of Dance and aims to be a qualified ballet teacher by the end of 2024. She has completed a year of full-time training at Dancebox, and is in her last year of training for her BTEC diploma with Showtime Circus where she has furthered her performance skills. She also currently teaches afterschool clubs and holiday clubs to primary schools. We are so proud to have Erin take her dancing to the next level with us and explore her love of teaching.
Miss Melody
Melody’s dance journey started 10 years ago, alongside Mrs Bekki’s growing school. She began specialising in street dance and fell in love with other styles such as ballet, jazz and musical theatre over the years.
She completed a year with Showtime Circus, earning a BTEC in Performing Arts and adding circus skills such as aerial, acro and equipment-based acts to her repertoire. During this time she performed alongside Ant and Dec in the opening parade for Britain’s Got Talent.
After assisting with classes, she realised that she wanted to become Miss Melody, and has finished her major ballet exams, leading her down the path to becoming a fully qualified dance teacher. Her second family has always been RMAD and she can’t wait to welcome more aspiring dancers to the group.
Miss Orla
Orla is in her 3rd year of her Dancebox Degree training and is frequently spotlighted in their performances as a soloist vocally and as a dancer.
She works for a variety of event companies alongside her training. She also teaches the Dancebox Junior school students alongside working with our students at RMAD.
Miss Katie
Katie is a professional performer with skills across multiple genres. She graduated with a distinction from Laine Theatre Arts in 2022, obtaining both a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and a BA (Hons) Degree.
Whilst at Laine she was a lead in the production of the musical ‘A.. My Name is Alice’ and worked closely as a singer with Stephen Brooker for the 2022 Musical Theatre Classics Concert. To date, she has performed in 9 professional pantomimes and has choreographed a variety of numbers for different age groups.
